Brand Identity

Ariana Florence Photography is a husband & wife wedding and film photography duo from Austin, TX. They aim to inspire people to simply be present with themselves, and enjoy observing from behind the camera to capture genuine moments. They wanted to roll out new branding for the 2022 new year to highlight their creative skillset, and match their unique artistic style.

To reach this goal, I created a custom designed logotype and complimentary monogram. The type choice was inspired by the memphis art movement and 1960’s architecture that is reflected in many of their photographs. The contrast between the wavy type design and colors evoke a playful feel that aligns with both of their personalities. When selecting colors I chose tones that root back to ones most present in their photography and found in the landscapes of Texas.
